Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly set to skip one of the biggest moments of his father’s career, and new reports suggest the decision is not entirely about his wife, Nicola Peltz.
According to Page Six, David Beckham will soon receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While Victoria Beckham and family friend Tom Cruise are expected to attend, Brooklyn reportedly has no plans to be there.
The absence is likely to reignite speculation about the long-running tensions within the Beckham family.
Brooklyn Beckham Reportedly Won’t Attend
A source told the outlet that Brooklyn lives only a short distance from the ceremony venue but still intends to stay away.
The insider claimed the decision largely comes from Brooklyn himself.
“It’s a complex situation,” the source reportedly said. “Brooklyn doesn’t want to see his parents.”
The source added that Nicola Peltz is also said to oppose the idea of him attending, but insisted the decision is not solely hers.
That claim comes after years of public speculation that Nicola has played a role in the growing distance between Brooklyn and his famous parents.
Family Rift Became Public
Earlier this year, Brooklyn appeared to confirm the family tensions in a social media statement.
Among several allegations, he claimed his parents had tried to interfere with his relationship with Nicola and treated him differently after disagreements surrounding his 2022 wedding.
He also addressed his absence from David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations, saying attempts to arrange a private meeting with his father were unsuccessful.
At the time, Brooklyn pushed back against claims that Nicola controls him.
“The idea that my wife controls me is completely backward,” he wrote.
He added that distancing himself from family conflict had helped ease years of anxiety.
Victoria Beckham Responds
Victoria Beckham has publicly rejected suggestions that she and David were controlling parents.
In a recent interview, the fashion designer said she and her husband have always focused on supporting their children’s interests and ambitions.
“We’ve always aimed to support, help, and encourage all of our children,” she said.
Victoria also noted that each of their children has chosen their own path, including sons Romeo and Cruz stepping away from soccer despite David’s legendary career in the sport.
For now, neither Brooklyn nor Nicola has publicly commented on reports surrounding the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
But if the reports are accurate, Brooklyn’s absence could become one of the most talked-about aspects of a day meant to celebrate his father’s achievements.
