Jessica Alba and Cash Warren once promised to keep things friendly after their split. Now, that peace may be getting harder to maintain.

The former couple ended their 16-year marriage in early 2025 and publicly framed the breakup around respect, kindness, and co-parenting. But new reports claim the mood has changed since Alba, 45, started dating actor Danny Ramirez, 33.

According to one insider, Warren is struggling with the attention around Alba’s new romance. Alba, meanwhile, reportedly thinks his reaction is just bitterness over her moving on. So, what happened to the clean breakup?

Cash Warren Reportedly Hates The Public Romance

Warren, 47, allegedly feels frustrated by how visible Alba’s relationship with Ramirez has become.

A source claimed he believes he has “kept his side of the street clean,” while Alba has damaged that by showing off her new boyfriend in public. The insider said Warren feels she has been “packing on the PDA” with Ramirez and giving everyone “a front row ticket” to the relationship.

Alba reportedly sees it very differently. “Jessica, of course, says it’s a classic case of Cash having sour grapes,” the source said. “He’s obviously struggling to move on and trying to burst her bubble by acting all snarky and bitter.”

The tension grew after Ramirez shared photos from a Mexico getaway, including one image of Alba kissing him on the cheek.

Graduation Moment Raises Eyebrows

The reported awkwardness did not stay online. Observers also noticed distance between Alba and Warren at their daughter Honor’s high school graduation in Los Angeles on May 28. Reports claim the exes largely kept apart during the event. The two still share three children: Honor, 17, Haven, 14, and Hayes, 8.

Sources say they remain focused on co-parenting, but mainly communicate about parenting matters. One insider claimed there is still “resentment” on both sides.

That is a rough turn for a couple that once wanted to avoid the usual ugly Hollywood divorce pattern.

Divorce Settlement Comes With Big Money

The personal tension comes as details from their divorce settlement have also surfaced.

Alba and Warren agreed to divide community property from their marriage, which lasted from May 19, 2008, until their separation on Dec. 27, 2024. Their shared assets reportedly include investments, stock holdings, artwork, furniture, and multiple properties.

As part of the settlement, Alba will pay Warren $5 million from the sale of one jointly owned home. She will also set aside $500,000 for expenses related to their children.

Warren is reportedly entitled to half of Alba’s acting royalties and residuals from projects completed during their marriage, including ‘Machete’, ‘Valentine’s Day’, ‘The Office’, ‘Barely Famous’, and ‘Dear Eleanor’.

He will also receive 50 percent of her restricted shares in The Honest Company. Alba, in turn, will receive half of Warren’s profits from production projects made during the marriage.

Custody Deal Keeps Them Connected

The former couple agreed to joint legal custody. Neither will pay child support for now, and both will share responsibility for major decisions involving the children’s health, education, and welfare. They also waived future spousal support claims.

The paperwork may be settled. The emotions sound less resolved. Between the new boyfriend, co-parenting, and a very expensive settlement, the split still has plenty of heat left.
