Donald Trump Jr.’s new wife may already be thinking far beyond the honeymoon.

Bettina Trump, formerly Bettina Anderson, married the president’s eldest son in an intimate Bahamas wedding on Little Pipe Cay last week. Around 40 guests attended, including Don Jr.’s siblings Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany Trump.

But a new profile has shifted attention away from the ceremony and toward Bettina’s alleged ambitions inside the Trump family.

According to insiders, the 39-year-old Palm Beach socialite would be more than open to becoming first lady one day if Donald Trump Jr. ever runs for president. “First lady? Are you kidding?” one source said. “Of course she would love that.”

Bettina Trump Changes Her Public Image

Bettina appeared to move quickly into her new role. After the wedding, she changed her Instagram handle from Anderson to Trump before posting official wedding photos, according to the report.

Her new bio also drew attention. “Married. Not domesticated.” The line replaced a very different old profile note: “I’m just your typical stay-at-home mom… only I don’t do household chores… or have a husband… or have kids…”

The change made her new public identity look deliberate. She is now Mrs. Trump, but she is also making clear that she does not want to be framed as quiet or domestic. That message has only added to speculation about what she wants next.

Insider Says First Lady Role Would Be ‘Life Goal Realized’

One insider claimed Bettina’s marriage into the Trump family is the result of a long-standing social ambition. “That is pretty much her life goal realized,” the source said of the possibility of becoming first lady.

Another Palm Beach insider was even more direct, claiming Bettina stayed in Palm Beach rather than moving to New York or London because she wanted to marry a wealthy man. The source said Bettina had a clear plan and had long wanted to settle into that world.

Her half-sister, Mea Stone, gave a softer version of that same idea. Stone said Bettina had wanted marriage and children for a long time. “Bettina’s a really nice girl, and I hope she gets to have her baby soon,” Stone said.

She added that Bettina had always wanted to be like her twin sister Kristina and have children of her own. “In some ways, I think babies are more important to her than who the husband was,” Stone said.

Palm Beach Upbringing Gets Scrutiny

Bettina and her twin sister Kristina are the youngest children of banker Loy Anderson and Swedish model Inger Anderson.

Stone claimed their mother raised them with a very Palm Beach view of money, beauty, and status. “You can never be too rich or too thin,” Stone said. She added that Bettina and her siblings were raised to date people who “had something.” “They would never date anybody that didn’t have something,” Stone claimed. “Bettina is like that as well, but they all are.” Stone also said Bettina had “very high expectations” from the time she was young.

The family’s connection to Trump history comes with some irony. Stone claimed their father once described Donald Trump as “a slimy used car salesman from New York” when the Trump family bought Mar-a-Lago in the 1980s.

Don Jr.’s Family Welcomes Bettina

Donald Trump was reportedly absent from the Bahamas wedding, but Don Jr.’s five children from his marriage to Vanessa Haydon were there.

Eric Trump also praised the couple after the ceremony. “Don and Bettina are wonderful together,” he told Page Six. “They truly light up around each other.”

At the wedding, Bettina described the weekend as unforgettable. “I get to marry the love of my life,” she said. “I feel just like the luckiest girl in the world.”

For now, Bettina is newly married into one of America’s most-watched political families. But if insiders are right, the private-island wedding may not be the end of the story. It may be the beginning of a much bigger Trump chapter.
