The fear, according to the report, is not just that Kris might make an awkward comment. It is that she could decide Elordi is good for ratings.
That would be a problem for Kendall, who has long been seen as one of the more private members of the family. Unlike Kim Kardashian or Kylie Jenner, Kendall has often kept her romantic life at a greater distance from the cameras.
The insider claimed Kendall has even refused to introduce Elordi to Kris because she worries the relationship could become a storyline before she has any control over it.

The alleged tension comes as Kris is reportedly under pressure to keep ‘The Kardashians’ interesting for Hulu.
The family’s relationships have always been part of the show’s engine. Kim’s marriages, Kourtney’s relationship drama, Khloé’s heartbreak, and Kylie’s Timothée Chalamet references have all helped drive conversation.
