Brad Pitt made a public appearance with girlfriend Ines de Ramon just days after his daughter with Angelina Jolie, Zahara Jolie, graduated from Spelman College without him there.

The 62-year-old actor attended the Mercedes-AMG world premiere in Los Angeles with de Ramon, 33, at the Sixth Street Bridge. The couple walked hand-in-hand and appeared relaxed throughout the event, with witnesses reportedly seeing them embrace while mingling with guests.

The outing drew attention because it came shortly after Zahara’s college graduation in Atlanta, where she was supported by her mother, Angelina Jolie, and siblings Pax and Knox.

Pitt leaned into a retro-inspired look for the event, wearing a tan suit with a crisp white shirt, gold-framed sunglasses, black leather shoes, a mustache, and longer hair. De Ramon, a jewelry designer, wore a strapless red gown with loose brunette waves and glowing makeup.

The pair have been linked since late 2022 and have become increasingly visible at public events. This appearance showed them looking comfortable and affectionate, but the timing put Pitt’s family situation back in the spotlight.

Zahara Jolie Graduates Without Pitt Present

Over the weekend, Zahara graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta. Photos from the ceremony showed her celebrating with Jolie, Pax, and Knox.

Pitt was reportedly absent from the milestone.

The moment that drew the most attention came when Zahara crossed the stage and was introduced as “Zahara Marley Jolie,” leaving out the Pitt surname.

It was not the first time she had publicly used that name. In 2023, Zahara introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” during her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority induction ceremony at Spelman.

According to reports, Zahara earned a psychology degree with a minor in educational studies. She has also been active in leadership initiatives, advocacy programs, and campus organizations focused on social impact.

Zahara Honors Angelina Jolie In Emotional Speech

Weeks before graduation, Zahara gave a speech about her relationship with Jolie and her adoption journey.

“When asked to speak with you all today on the value of mother-daughter relationships, it felt challenging to find the words,” Zahara said. “Not challenging because I don’t value it, but because my mom and I have a unique, almost kindred, relationship that can be hard to put into words.”

She continued, “Our love for each other is a found one. I was adopted at 6 months old and given some of the most special and loving people as my siblings, with a mom who raised us on the value of helping others, being kind and always striving for growth as people.” Zahara added that Jolie had shown her “what it looks like to be a decent human being.”

Pitt was not mentioned in the speech.

Pitt Family Rift Remains In Focus

In recent years, several of Pitt and Jolie’s children have appeared to distance themselves from the Pitt surname amid the former couple’s long-running legal disputes and fractured family dynamic.

Shiloh previously filed to legally drop Pitt from her last name, while Vivienne has also been credited professionally as Vivienne Jolie.

Pitt has not publicly commented on Zahara’s graduation or her continued use of the Jolie surname.

For now, his relationship with de Ramon appears steady and public. His relationship with several of his children, however, continues to draw scrutiny every time a major family milestone happens without him visibly present.
