Khloé Kardashian says her weight-loss transformation changed the way people treated her, and she has not forgotten how ugly that felt.

The 41-year-old reality star opened up on a new episode of ‘Khloé in Wonder Land,’ reflecting on how differently she was received after her body changed. Kardashian said the shift was not flattering. It was disturbing.

Her point was simple: she was the same person before and after the weight loss. Other people were the ones who changed.

Khloé Kardashian Says The Better Treatment Felt ‘Gross’

Kardashian said she noticed the difference long before people were willing to admit it.

“When I was chubbier, I used to get very different treatment than [her sisters] Kourtney and Kim got,” she said. “When I lost a lot of weight and started looking different, the treatment I started getting was so much better.”

That did not make her feel validated. It made her feel disgusted. “I remember how gross that made me feel, but I also was like, I see all of you,” Kardashian said.

She said she has never forgotten the people who were rude to her before her transformation but treated her sisters better.

“I’m the same person, but aesthetically I look different,” she continued. “Your treatment of me is so vastly different, and it makes me [feel] gross. That’s the world that this is, and I don’t like that.”

She Says Fashion Treated Her Differently Too

Kardashian has spoken about this before, especially when it comes to the fashion industry.

In a 2016 interview with ‘Harper’s Bazaar,’ she said stylists often failed to bring clothing options for her during shoots.

“There would always be this attention on Kourtney and Kim, but I was too much work for [stylists] or they had nothing in my size,” she said. “I wasn’t even that crazy big!”

She also recalled some stylists refusing to work with her. “Other [stylists] actually said, ‘I just can’t work with you,’ because I was too big,” Kardashian said. “That always hurt my feelings, of course.”

After she lost weight, some of those same people came back around. Kardashian was not interested. “I was just like I’m not going to reward your bad behavior,” she said.

Khloé Says Her Health Journey Was Not Just About Weight

Kardashian began focusing more heavily on fitness in the mid-2010s after her divorce from Lamar Odom. Since then, she has been open about working out, eating differently and rebuilding her confidence.

She has also launched projects tied to fitness and body transformation, including her 2017 series ‘Revenge Body.’

Still, Kardashian has said her health journey was never only about a number on the scale. “When I started seeing that I could lose weight, because I just thought my body would never change, I started taking it more seriously and eating better,” she told ‘Harper’s Bazaar.’

She later told ‘Bustle’ that she no longer checks the scale. “The scale messes with you,” Kardashian said. “I don’t even look at a scale anymore. I think it’s really unhealthy. I haven’t in years. They’re just numbers.”

For Kardashian, the painful part was not only how the world saw her before. It was realizing how quickly that world rewarded her once she looked different.
