Khloé Kardashian says she is done protecting Lamar Odom’s side of the story. The Khloé Kardashian drama reignited after his Netflix documentary revisited his 2015 overdose and recovery. Kardashian said she joined the project as a favor, without pay. Now, she claims Odom’s press comments made her feel used and publicly dismissed.

Khloé Kardashian Drama Turns Personal

Kardashian spoke about the fallout on her podcast, “Khloé in Wonder Land.” She said she regretted appearing in “Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.” According to Entertainment Weekly, she also said she is still waiting for an apology. Instead, she believes Odom is “doubling down” on the version that upset her.

The documentary traces Odom’s NBA rise, his marriage to Kardashian, and his near-fatal overdose. Netflix describes the film as a look at his fame, addiction struggles, and survival. Kardashian’s role in that recovery has long been part of their public history. That is why his latest comments landed so badly with her.

Lamar Odom Comments Spark Pushback

The tension grew after Odom discussed his survival during a “Today” appearance. E! News reported that he said “God saved my life” when asked about Kardashian’s role. He also said she helped “in some ways.” For Kardashian, that answer appeared to minimize what she says she did.

Kardashian has said she paused their divorce and stayed close during his medical crisis. She has also described the experience as traumatic to revisit. TMZ reported that she said she received no paycheck for the documentary. She framed her appearance as support, not a business move.

Netflix Documentary Reopens Old Wounds

Kardashian and Odom married in 2009 after a fast romance. Their relationship later became a major part of Kardashian reality TV history. In 2015, Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. Kardashian was separated from him at the time, but she still became deeply involved in his recovery.

That history makes the new fight feel especially messy. Kardashian says she shared painful memories because Odom asked her to help. She now feels the promotion around the documentary has turned against her. People reported that she told Kris Jenner the “bridge is burned” with Odom.

Odom has not publicly delivered the apology Kardashian says she wants. A source close to him told Cosmopolitan that he did not intend to call her dishonest. The source said his remarks focused on faith, not erasing her support. Still, Kardashian’s reaction shows how raw the story remains.

For now, the documentary has done more than revisit old pain. It has created a fresh break between two people with a very public past. Kardashian wanted her role remembered honestly. Odom wanted to tell his survival story. The problem is that both versions now seem to be fighting for the final word.
