Leonardo DiCaprio took Nikki Glaser’s Golden Globes roast surprisingly well. Then he answered with carbs.

Glaser revealed on ‘The Tonight Show’ that DiCaprio sent her three baskets of pasta after she joked about his dating history during the 2026 Golden Globes. The actor was there as a nominee for ‘One Battle After Another,’ while Glaser hosted the show for the second time. She is already set to return as host in 2027.

Her monologue went viral because she went straight for one of Hollywood’s most repeated DiCaprio jokes: his reputation for dating women under 25.

“What a career Leonardo DiCaprio has had,” Glaser said. “Countless iconic performances, you’ve worked with every great director, you’ve won three Golden Globes and an Oscar, and the most impressive thing is you were able to accomplish all that before your girlfriend turned 30.”

Glaser Said There Was Nothing Else To Roast

Glaser knew the joke was not exactly new. She admitted it right away during the monologue, which somehow made it sharper.

“Leo, I’m sorry I made that joke. It is cheap,” she said. “I tried not to, but, like, we don’t know anything else about you, man. There’s nothing else. Open up! I’m serious! I looked! I searched!”

Then she brought out the deep cut.

“The most in-depth interview you’ve ever given was for ‘Teen Beat’ magazine in 1991,” Glaser continued. “Is your favorite food still ‘Pasta, pasta and more pasta?’”

That line sent people digging. Internet sleuths quickly found the old ‘Teen Beat’ piece, where a young DiCaprio filled out a survey and listed pasta as a major favorite.

Glaser later told Jimmy Fallon that she had been “struggling” to find a fresh DiCaprio joke because the dating-age punchline has been used for years. She even joked, “That joke’s been going on longer than his current girlfriend has been alive. It’s been around forever.”

DiCaprio Sent Pasta Instead Of Taking Offense

Glaser said she usually sends flowers to stars she roasts, especially when they are good sports about the joke.

“After I do it, I always send flowers to everyone that I made fun of that was a good sport about it, which was everyone, just to say thank you, because it is a part of why I’m successful at it,” she explained.

DiCaprio, however, was the only person who sent something back.

“He sent me three baskets of pasta as a ‘thank you,’” Glaser said. “So funny. So good.”

That is a pretty perfect response. No public statement. No wounded celebrity note. Just pasta, pasta and more pasta.

Glaser also joked that part of her wondered whether DiCaprio’s gift meant he wanted to do something with her. But of course, then there is the age limit!

DiCaprio remains one of the most private major stars in Hollywood. He rarely gives much away about his personal life, which leaves comedians circling the same public detail again and again.
