Erika Kirk’s latest headlines aren’t about applause, but rather mockery, a flashy WWE-style entrance, and a cancellation that critics are now attributing to poor ticket sales.

Kirk has built a reputation for dramatic staging, complete with booming music and over-the-top walkouts more suited to a wrestling arena than a political event. This week, her image took another hit after her recent Turning Point USA appearance sparked a fresh wave of online ridicule. The situation worsened when she abruptly canceled a separate event, citing security concerns. Critics, spearheaded by Candace Owens, were quick to express their skepticism.

Erika Kirk’s WWE-Style Entrance Gets Roasted Again

The latest round of ridicule kicked off after footage from a Turning Point USA event showed Kirk making another grand entrance. The stage began in darkness. Red light shot upward. Then came the beat drop, a giant screen, dramatic visuals, and Kirk finally appearing behind a podium with a presidential-style seal.

That was enough for the internet to do what it does best. People compared the moment to a WWE walkout, mocked the heavy music, and said it looked more like parody than politics. Some referenced Druski’s viral sketch about conservative women, with several users arguing that his bit now feels less like exaggeration and more like a documentary. Others piled on with comparisons to ‘The Boys’, saying the whole thing looked bizarrely theatrical.

One of the more common reactions was simple. Everyone seemed to be making the same joke. Why does every Erika Kirk appearance look like a wrestler about to cut a promo?

Her Event Cancellation Only Made the Backlash Worse

Then came the bigger embarrassment. Kirk pulled out of a scheduled University of Georgia event with Vice President JD Vance just before it was due to begin, saying she was following her security team’s advice after concerns about travel safety.

“I was so looking forward to tonight’s event,” Kirk wrote, adding that after everything her family had been through, she had to take those recommendations seriously.

Owens went straight for the softer spot. She claimed Kirk backed out because the event was not selling well and accused her of using security as cover. “This is exhausting,” Owens wrote. “You pulled out because of bad ticket sales.”

Owens also mocked what she described as “invisible threats,” pointing to reports that federal authorities had identified no credible threat tied to the venue. According to a Secret Service source cited elsewhere, while Kirk may have received concerning messages online, they were not considered part of any actionable federal threat stream.

That is what made the whole thing hit harder. Kirk was already being roasted for yet another oversized entrance. Then she canceled an event under circumstances critics say looked suspiciously convenient.

The result is not subtle. Online, the story has become less about her speech and more about the performance around it. First the WWE-style entrance. Then the no-show. Then the ticket sale accusations. And now the jokes are writing themselves.
