Jennifer Aniston’s reported wedding plans with Jim Curtis may be slowing down.
The actress is said to still see Curtis as a long-term partner, but a new report claims she has made it clear that marriage cannot happen right now. The issue does not appear to be a lack of affection. It sounds more like timing, work, and geography are all getting in the way.
According to one insider, Aniston wants the relationship to keep moving, but not at a speed that makes the wedding feel rushed.
“Jen still sees Jim as the person she wants to grow old with, but right now there’s no room in her schedule for a wedding,” the source claimed.
Then came the line that reportedly rattled Curtis. “She’s had to tell Jim in no uncertain terms, ‘I can’t marry you,’” the insider said. “Not right now, anyway.”
Jennifer Aniston Reportedly Hits Pause
The report claims Aniston still wants the relationship to work, but she is not ready to turn it into a wedding deadline.
Some of her friends allegedly support that call. They reportedly felt the romance was moving too quickly and believed the couple needed more time before making a legal commitment.
That does not mean they want Aniston and Curtis to break up.
The concern, according to the insider, is simpler: less than a year together may not be enough time to settle major decisions about marriage, homes, and future plans.
For Aniston, the pause may be less about doubt and more about control. She reportedly wants any wedding to feel meaningful, not squeezed between work commitments.
Jim Curtis Reportedly Fears What Delay Means
Curtis, however, is reportedly uneasy about the delay.
The source claimed he still hopes to marry Aniston, but the current pause has left him wondering where things stand. That is where the tension appears to be growing.
There is also the question of location. Curtis is reportedly still attached to New York, while Aniston prefers Los Angeles. A full-time move to New York has allegedly come up, but the couple has not reached a clear answer. That kind of issue matters. A wedding is one thing. Building a daily life in the same city is another.
Work Is Still A Major Factor
Aniston’s schedule is also packed. She continues to balance acting, producing, filming ‘The Morning Show’, and running her LolaVie haircare brand. The insider claimed those commitments leave little room for wedding planning. That may explain why Aniston is reportedly asking for time rather than calling things off.
Still, the headline is not great for Curtis. Being told “I can’t marry you right now” is not the same as being told “never.” But it is enough to make any partner nervous, especially when friends are already questioning the pace.
For now, Aniston and Curtis are reportedly still together. The wedding, however, appears to be on hold.
