BIGBANG member and solo artist G-Dragon has abruptly canceled his concert in Bangkok, Thailand.
On Thursday, concert organizer fanplusone.com announced the cancellation of G-Dragon’s Übermensch world tour performance scheduled for August 2, citing unforeseen circumstances.
G-Dragon’s team issued an apology, stating, “We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience caused to our fans. We hope to see our Thai fans again soon.” The exact reason for the cancellation remains undisclosed.
The concert was set to take place at Bangkok’s Rajamangala National Stadium. As ticket sales had not yet begun, no refund procedures will be necessary.
This cancellation follows a recent controversy during his concert, which was held in Korea, where he started 74 minutes late due to inclement weather, drawing criticism from fans. Some attendees reportedly booed at the venue. G-Dragon apologized on stage, saying, “I’m sorry for the late start in this cold weather.”
In another incident, G-Dragon arrived 40 minutes late to his PEACEMINUSONE Highball Launching Party, sparking further controversy. While his agency cited traffic congestion as the reason, the explanation did little to quell criticism.

G-Dragon kicked off his G-Dragon 2025 World Tour Übermensch in March in Goyang, South Korea. He has recently completed shows in Japan, Macau, and Australia, with performances in Taiwan scheduled through July 13. The tour is set to continue with stops in Bulacan, Philippines; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Hong Kong.
