Fresh off celebrating 15 years of marriage with Elsa Pataky, the Australian actor returned to Spain—Pataky’s home country and what he often calls his second home—embracing the city despite a tightly packed schedule.

During his visit, he braved rainy weather to conduct interviews atop Madrid’s iconic Edificio Metrópolis, now an exclusive members-only venue, alongside director Bart Layton. After powering through a long afternoon of press, Hemsworth headed off to prepare for an appearance on El Hormiguero, one of Spain’s most popular television shows.

Hemsworth and Pataky, known for prioritizing fitness, were reportedly spotted at the Metropolitan gym near Pataky’s family home in the Chamberí neighborhood, a familiar stop whenever they are in Madrid. Pataky accompanied him on the trip but let Hemsworth take center stage during the promotional push.

In one clip, he enthusiastically praised Madrid and its people while encouraging fans to watch his new film. Another video showed the couple enjoying sweeping views from the Metropolitan club overlooking Gran Vía and Calle de Alcalá, offering a glimpse of their time together in the city.

Recently, Hemsworth has also spoken openly about personal challenges, including his genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s and his father’s diagnosis, crediting Pataky as a major source of support. Crime 101 opens in theaters on February 13 and features a star-studded cast including Mark Ruffalo, Halle Berry, Barry Keoghan, and Nick Nolte, marking another gritty turn away from Hemsworth’s superhero roles.
