Emma Watson may have a new romance in her life. The actress has recently been spotted spending time with Mexican entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Bailleres, sparking speculation that the two are dating.
The pair were seen together at an airport, where they appeared close and comfortable with one another. According to People, a source familiar with the situation said Watson is “really into” Bailleres as their relationship develops.
The insider added that the Harry Potter star seems happy and relaxed as the connection grows.
“She’s on cloud nine,” the source said, describing Watson’s current mood. The person also noted that Bailleres “seems like a stand-up guy.”
After the airport sighting, the two were reportedly seen having dinner together at a restaurant, adding to speculation that their relationship may be becoming more serious.
Bailleres comes from a prominent business family in Mexico and currently leads Lok, an artificial intelligence technology company, as its CEO.
Watson’s last publicly known relationship was with Brandon Green, the son of British retail businessman Sir Philip Green. The two were linked in 2022.
In a previous appearance on Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose, Watson spoke about what she values in a partner and the importance of feeling understood.
“I want someone who appreciates my work,” she said at the time.
She also mentioned that she finds it refreshing when people she meets are not overly focused on her acting career.
“Sometimes people apologize for not having seen my films,” Watson said. “And I’m like, ‘Please don’t apologize. That’s actually bliss to me.’”
