Heidi Montag is opening up about the difficult reality she and Spencer Pratt are facing after losing their home in the Los Angeles wildfires.

In a recent interview with Gold Derby, the former The Hills star shared that their family is still displaced and uncertain about what comes next. The wildfire destroyed the home they had worked years to afford, leaving them without a clear path to rebuilding.

“Unfortunately, for us right now, it’s just not looking hopeful,” Montag said, explaining that financial constraints make reconstruction unlikely. She described the situation as overwhelming, noting that they had invested much of their careers into securing the property and now find themselves starting over.

Montag emphasized that they are not alone. She pointed out that many longtime residents in their community are facing similar hardships, particularly families who bought homes decades ago when the area was more affordable. For some, rebuilding simply isn’t financially possible in today’s market.

The emotional toll has also affected their children. Montag shared that their youngest son, Ryker, 3, struggles to understand the loss and frequently asks when they can return home. She described the conversations as heartbreaking, explaining that he still tries to process what happened in his own way.

Montag and Pratt, who married in 2008, are parents to two sons, Ryker and Gunner. As they navigate recovery, Montag acknowledged the uncertainty ahead but expressed solidarity with others in their community facing similar devastation.
