Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son Christian “King” Combs have quietly resolved a lawsuit over unpaid legal fees, bringing another chapter of the embattled mogul’s legal saga to a close.
According to reports, a law firm that previously represented the father-son duo claimed they were owed more than $53,000 in unpaid invoices. Legal documents obtained by TMZ indicated that Summa LLP logged over 100 attorney hours and nearly 90 paralegal hours that allegedly went unpaid beginning in March of last year. The dispute centered strictly on outstanding legal fees—not new criminal charges.
The firm had represented Diddy during a tumultuous period that included high-profile legal battles. While Diddy was not fully cleared of all allegations in prior cases, he was acquitted by a jury on racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. Christian, meanwhile, has been facing a separate sexual assault lawsuit filed by Grace O’Marcaigh, who alleges she suffered mental and emotional distress following an incident aboard a yacht she claims was chartered by Diddy. Christian has denied wrongdoing.
Sources now say the unpaid balance has been settled, effectively ending the fee dispute. The resolution comes as Diddy continues serving time related to a prostitution-related conviction. He is currently expected to remain incarcerated until May 2028, barring any changes to his sentence.
At one point, there were reports that Christian’s legal team had explored the possibility of seeking a presidential pardon for Diddy. However, former President Donald Trump has publicly stated that no such pardon would be granted.
While the legal fee matter appears resolved, the broader legal challenges surrounding the Combs family continue to draw public attention as multiple cases remain under scrutiny.
