Fox News host Will Cain is under fire after dedicating an entire segment of his show to questioning bisexuality and directly telling young viewers they’re “not bisexual.”

During Wednesday’s episode of The Will Cain Show, Cain zeroed in on new Gallup data showing that 9% of Americans now identify as LGBTQ+, with roughly 60% of that group identifying as bisexual. But it was the generational breakdown that caught his attention: 23% of adults ages 18 to 29 said they identify as LGBTQ+, a number Cain repeatedly described as “one in four.”

“What’s driving this?” Cain asked, openly questioning whether the rise reflects a generational shift or something else. Speaking with political commentator Link Lauren, Cain expressed disbelief at the surge in bisexual identification, suggesting that sexuality and gender labels had become a form of identity politics.

Lauren echoed that skepticism, saying he struggled to understand terms like pansexual, polysexual, and nonbinary. He speculated that some young people may be adopting labels “out of thin air,” prompting Cain to double down on the idea that sexual identity has become tied to perceived victimhood and social power.

Cain also pointed to reports that sexual activity among young people is declining, saying he found it “challenging” to reconcile that trend with rising bisexual identification. He appeared particularly focused on young women, repeating Lauren’s claim that it’s “predominantly young women, especially white girls,” identifying as bisexual.

The segment ended with Cain addressing viewers directly. “Put down your phones. Stop consuming pornography. You’re not bisexual,” he said, a remark that has since sparked backlash online from critics who argue he was dismissing and invalidating people’s sexual identities.

The clip quickly circulated across social media, with many calling Cain’s comments tone-deaf and offensive, while supporters praised him for questioning cultural trends. Either way, the segment has reignited debate over generational shifts in identity—and who gets to define them.
