Stefon Diggs’ legal drama took a sudden and unexpected turn after his former girlfriend, Aileen Lopera, abruptly moved to dismiss her paternity and child support lawsuit against the NFL star. The filing came just days after her attorney publicly claimed that a DNA test confirmed Diggs was the father of her child—raising immediate questions about what changed behind the scenes.

The motion to dismiss was filed on January 20 and brought the case to a quiet close with little explanation. Court records simply note that the matter has been resolved, offering no details about any agreement, settlement, or negotiations that may have occurred. No judge ever ruled on paternity before the case was dropped.

Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, confirmed the dismissal in a brief statement, saying only that the issue had been resolved. Beyond that, neither side has provided further clarification, fueling speculation about whether the dispute ended privately.

The case began in December 2024, when Lopera filed a petition alleging Diggs was the biological father of her daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, who was born on April 2, 2024. She sought to legally establish paternity, requested sole custody, and asked for child support, pregnancy-related expenses, and attorney’s fees. Lopera claimed the pregnancy resulted from a sexual encounter with Diggs in California.

Diggs pushed back months later, stating he could not confirm paternity and requesting genetic testing. He made it clear that any legal determinations should be based on scientific proof and said he would seek joint custody if testing confirmed he was the father.

On November 6, 2025, Lopera’s attorney publicly stated that DNA testing had confirmed Diggs’ paternity. The announcement made headlines, but the alleged test results were never submitted to the court or released publicly. Just over two months later, the lawsuit was dismissed entirely, leaving observers questioning why the case ended without formal legal findings.

The paternity dispute played out as Diggs’ personal life was already under intense scrutiny. During the legal battle, his relationship with Cardi B became public, and the rapper announced she was pregnant with Diggs’ child in September 2025. She later gave birth in November and spoke openly about entering a new chapter focused on growth, stability, and family.

Now, with the case officially closed, many questions remain unanswered. There is no public record of a settlement, no clarification on custody or financial arrangements, and no explanation for why the lawsuit was dropped so soon after the DNA claim.

For now, both Diggs and Lopera have gone silent, leaving a high-profile legal dispute to end not with clarity—but with mystery.
