Rap mogul Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is once again weighing in on the saga of his longtime rival, Sean “Diddy” Combs—this time reacting to a new docuseries announced by Diddy’s own sons, Justin and Christian “King” Combs.
The brothers dropped the news on social media, teasing a tell-all look into their father’s life—from the height of his empire to the scandals that ultimately brought him down. The announcement immediately drew attention from 50 Cent, who co-produced Netflix’s explosive documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which dissected Diddy’s alleged crimes and downfall.
Never one to stay silent, 50 reposted the trailer on Instagram with his trademark snark, writing, “Wow ? I want to see this show. ? I’m not sure this was a good idea.”
Insiders say the Combs brothers’ docuseries will dive into what it was like growing up as the children of hip-hop royalty under relentless public scrutiny. The show reportedly includes rare home footage and recordings from within Diddy’s own circle—ensuring the family, not outside producers, controls the story this time.
That’s a sharp contrast to 50’s Netflix project, which featured footage captured right before Diddy’s September 2024 arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. The teaser already shows Justin and Christian watching clips of their father’s legal battles while public commentary blasts across the screen.
Though the title and premiere date remain under wraps, the docuseries is set to drop on Zeus Network in 2026—and it’s already stirring up controversy.
Meanwhile, Diddy isn’t taking his portrayal on Netflix lightly. According to Deadline, the hip-hop mogul’s legal team is preparing to sue both the streaming giant and 50 Cent himself, claiming the show used illegally obtained footage. Combs’ lawyers fired off a cease-and-desist letter to Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, accusing him of “corporate retribution” after Diddy rejected a previous pitch for a documentary.
Currently serving a 30-month sentence at Fort Dix, New Jersey, for charges related to prostitution and racketeering, Diddy is reportedly furious about how his image has been handled in the media. His team insists they won’t hesitate to take Netflix—or anyone else—to court.
As 50 Cent continues to fan the flames and the Combs family takes control of their own narrative, fans are bracing for more revelations. Whether this new project redeems Diddy or digs his hole deeper, one thing’s certain: this feud is far from over.
