Choi Jun Hee, the daughter of the late Choi Jin Sil, recently took to social media to report that her phone had been stolen.

On Sunday, Choi Jun Hee expressed her frustration in a post, writing, “Someone swiped my phone at the beach, and now I can’t access Instagram or KakaoTalk.” She added, “I’m heading to Seoul tomorrow to buy a new phone,” and didn’t hide her anger toward the thief, saying, “May everything they do end in failure.”

Choi Jun Hee, whose parents were both prominent public figures, has since built her own following as a health and diet influencer.

She previously made headlines after revealing that her weight had climbed to 96 kg (212 pounds) during her battle with lupus, an autoimmune disease. After undergoing a significant transformation, she now weighs around 40 kg (88 pounds). Amid public concern over her extremely slim figure and speculation about a possible eating disorder, Choi Jun Hee responded candidly: “The era of starving yourself to lose weight is over. The smart way is to enjoy good food while sculpting your body. I still have the same stomach I had when I weighed 96 kg. It’s about eating happily and living beautifully.”

With that, she firmly rejected rumors of anorexia and voiced her stance against extreme dieting methods.

In a more personal update, Choi Jun Hee recently posted a vlog on her YouTube channel documenting a trip to Vietnam with her grandaunt, whom she describes as a mother figure. In the video, she opened up about a touching family memory:”My mom told me that when I was a baby, my grandmother would get sad whenever she had to go to the U.S. to visit my uncle. When she was told to call home, she’d hide behind the curtains and cry while talking on the phone,” Choi Jun Hee shared.

She continued, “Eventually, my mom told her, ‘Just take the baby with you to the U.S.’ I don’t even know why that memory stays with me. No one knows what we went through.”

Through these moments, Choi Jun Hee offered a rare and intimate glimpse into her family’s emotional journey, one shaped by love, loss, and resilience.
