On a recent episode of KBS 2TV’s 2 Days & 1 Night Season 4, viewers enjoyed a scenic getaway to Yeosu featuring the regular cast along with special guests Park Bo Gum and Lee Sang Yi.

At their beachside lodging, the group asked Park Bo Gum a fun yet telling question: Would he let his future daughter travel with her boyfriend? Park Bo Gum’s first response was a surprised, “With friends?” But when he realized they meant a romantic partner, he drew a clear line, saying, “Traveling with a boyfriend? That’s a bit…” before trailing off. In contrast, fellow cast member Moon Se Yoon was more relaxed, replying, “She’s an adult, so it’s fine,” then jokingly adding, “But I can’t come along?”

Later, on their way to base camp, the conversation turned to Park Bo Gum’s swimming skills. When asked if he liked diving, Park Bo Gum confidently said yes. Lee Sang Yi chimed in, recalling a diving scene they filmed together for the drama Good Boy, praising Park Bo Gum’s skill in the water. Park Bo Gum then surprised everyone by revealing he’s already a certified scuba diver. He also shared that it had been a while since he’d done a physically demanding outdoor variety show, and expressed how much he enjoyed it.

The evening’s dinner and sleeping arrangements were decided in a playful cow fencing game, where cast members acted as human cows, trying to smear camouflage cream on each other’s faces within one minute.

Moon Se Yoon asked Park Bo Gum, “How’s your core strength?” before plotting a move to lift Park by the legs and bring him down. On the other side, Lee Joon admitted, “That team is way too strong.”

Kim Jong Min joked about a past ride incident from nine years ago and playfully warned Park Bo Gum, “Sorry, but I’m going to slap you on the right cheek, then the other side too.” Park Bo Gum smiled warmly and replied, “Aww, you’re just so sweet, Jong Min. Congrats on your wedding!”

Kim Jong Min looked worried, saying, “What do I do? He’s too kind.” But once the game started, Park Bo Gum’s expression turned serious as he used his core strength to free his hands and cover Kim Jong Min’s face in camouflage cream. Kim Jong Min tried to fight back, but Park skillfully dodged while teasing, “Hyung, I love you. Sorry!” — dominating the match with agile moves.

Afterward, Kim Jong Min jokingly teared up, saying, “I got hit by Bo Gum,” while Park Bo Gum checked on him with genuine concern, showing the warmth behind the competition.
