Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are turning their wedding into a full Sicily spectacle.

The couple officially married in an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall on Sunday, May 31. They celebrated again in Palermo, Italy, with a three-day event reportedly costing around $1.7 million.

The celebrations took place across several Palermo venues from June 5 to June 7, with a guest list packed with major names from music, fashion, and film.

Dua Lipa And Callum Turner Celebrated In Palermo

Dua and Callum arrived in Sicily on Wednesday night ahead of their guests and stayed at the Villa Igiea Hotel on the outskirts of Palermo. The couple were later seen at their pre-wedding party on Friday, June 5, where they kissed in front of cheering friends and family.

Dua wore a white Bottega Veneta gown that quickly became one of the biggest visual moments of the weekend. The dress featured a backless design, a low-cut halter neckline, and soft feather detailing along the floor-length skirt. She paired the gown with Bulgari jewelry, including a watch, bangle, and choker necklace.

Callum kept close to his bride during the celebrations, as guests gathered in the center of Palermo ahead of the couple’s larger wedding events.

Elton John reportedly performed his 1970 song ‘Your Song’ on piano during the outdoor ceremony at Villa Valguarnera, an 18th-century mansion in Palermo.

Guests were also reportedly served a banquet featuring Sicilian desserts, including cassate and cannoli, with food catered by Michelin chef Tony Lo Coco.

The Sicily Wedding Came With A Serious Price Tag

The couple’s Palermo base added another luxury layer to the celebration. Dua and Callum were seen relaxing on the balcony of their five-star hotel, where the most expensive suite reportedly costs more than $7,000 per night.

They appeared to be staying in the Donna Franca Suite, which includes a terrace, sea view, separate living room, and private outdoor space.

The couple also reportedly paid more than $11,000 to close Galleria d’Arte Moderna to the public on Friday afternoon for a cocktail reception.

Their main outdoor ceremony took place at Villa Valguarnera in nearby Bagheria. The historic Baroque property is known for its sea views, stately rooms, large terraces, and ties to European royalty, writers, and film figures.

Palermo officials welcomed the attention. “For us, having Dua Lipa’s wedding here is a great honor, and the welcome they will receive will promote the city on the international stage,” Antonio Rini, from Palermo Council’s tourism department, said.

For Dua and Callum, the wedding looks less like one quiet ceremony and more like a luxury pop-culture event with Sicily as the backdrop.
