Nicole Kidman may be turning the page after her split from Keith Urban, and Hollywood is already watching closely.
The Oscar-winning actress reportedly has grown close to Mike Hopkins, the head of Amazon Studios, months after finalizing her divorce from Urban in January. Sources say Kidman and Hopkins connected through her Amazon project ‘Scarpetta,’ though the exact nature of their bond is already getting two very different readings.
Some people around Hopkins reportedly believe the connection is “serious.” A source close to Kidman, however, has pushed back on that idea. Her representative declined to comment.

Hopkins is viewed in Los Angeles as an eligible bachelor with major industry power. He runs Amazon Studios, which puts him at the center of one of Hollywood’s biggest content machines.
Insiders describe him as attractive, successful and supportive of Kidman. He also reportedly attended the Met Gala in May, where Kidman served as host. The event was backed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, giving the whole situation another layer of industry intrigue.
Kidman and Hopkins reportedly met while ‘Scarpetta’ was in production for Amazon. The series has already put Kidman back in the prestige-TV conversation, and now her off-camera circle is drawing its own attention.

Kidman and Urban separated in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage. Their breakup followed months of talk that they had been living separate lives, with Kidman filming projects and Urban on tour.

“Nicole is loyal to her friends,” one insider said. “She wouldn’t cross that line.”
