Taylor Swift’s wedding guest list may already be causing drama before anyone even walks down the aisle.
The 36-year-old pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, also 36, announced their engagement last August after two years together. Now, sources claim the couple is preparing to marry in New York City on July 3.
But the bigger chatter is not just about the venue, the dress or the guest list. It is about who allegedly did not make the cut.
Taylor Swift’s Guest List Raises Eyebrows
According to reports, Swift has allegedly left Keleigh Sperry and her husband, actor Miles Teller, off the wedding invitation list.
That is a notable omission. Sperry was once seen as one of Swift’s close friends, and Teller has been friendly with both Swift and Kelce. Still, insiders now claim Swift and Sperry have grown apart.
One source described it as a “sad time” for the friendship. Friends in their circle were reportedly hoping the two women would repair things before the wedding.
Another insider suggested lifestyle differences may have played a role in the distance. Specific details, though, remain unclear.
Keleigh Sperry Was Once In Taylor’s Inner Circle
Swift and Sperry’s friendship goes back more than a decade. Sperry supported Swift during her ‘1989’ tour in 2015, and she and Teller later attended Swift’s ‘Reputation’ stadium tour in 2018.
The couple also appeared in Swift’s 2021 music video for ‘I Bet You Think About Me,’ from her ‘Red’ re-release. In the video, Swift crashes an all-white wedding while Sperry and Teller play the bride and groom.
That detail makes the alleged wedding snub feel even more pointed. A friend who once played a bride in a Swift video may now be missing from Swift’s real-life wedding guest list.
Sperry was also frequently seen with Swift after the singer began dating Kelce in 2023. She joined Swift at Chiefs games, including the 2024 Super Bowl, where Kansas City won.
Miles Teller Already Sounded Unsure
Teller seemed uncertain about the wedding invite question during a November 2025 interview with Parade.
“Yeah, I don’t know. That is gonna be, I imagine, one impressive wedding,” Teller said. “I’m just very happy for them. I’ve known Trav for a while, too, and I think they’re having a blast. That’s the point.”
While the full guest list remains under wraps, Suki Waterhouse has already confirmed she plans to attend.
“I’m gonna go to Taylor’s wedding, and maybe I’ll get some inspiration,” Waterhouse said. “It will be amazing.”
Swift has also kept the details playful. During an October appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show,’ she dodged questions about the date.
“Oh, you’ll know,” Swift teased.
For now, fans are watching the guest list like it is a new album rollout. And if Sperry and Teller really are missing from it, that may say plenty without Swift saying a word.
