Kendall Jenner is reportedly drawing a hard line with Kris Jenner over her relationship with Jacob Elordi.
The model is said to be “very” into the ‘Euphoria’ actor, but according to one insider, she does not want her mother turning the romance into material for ‘The Kardashians’. That fear has allegedly gone so far that Kendall has “refused” to introduce Elordi to Kris. “She’s afraid of what her mom will say,” the source claimed.
For Kendall, the concern is not just an awkward family meeting. It is the possibility that Kris could turn Elordi into a storyline before Kendall is ready.
Kendall Reportedly Wants Jacob Kept Off The Show
According to the insider, Kendall is worried that once Kris knows enough about the relationship, she could bring it up on camera.
“The problem is that if Kris wants to make it a plot line, she can just mention it herself and gossip to one of the girls about it,” the source said. That would leave Kendall with little control, even if Elordi never appears on the show himself.
This comes amid claims that Kris is under pressure to keep Hulu ratings strong and has been pushing her daughters to bring more attention-grabbing moments to the series.
A private relationship with a high-profile actor would be obvious reality-TV fuel. Kendall reportedly wants no part of that.
Kendall Allegedly Threatens To Walk Away
The source claimed Kendall has warned the family not to mention Elordi on the show at all.
“She’s throwing such a huge fit and making all these threats about walking away from the show if Kris or anyone else in the family even alludes to him,” the insider claimed. The source added that Kendall does not even want his name mentioned.
Kris, however, is reportedly not taking the warning too seriously. “Kris is rolling her eyes and saying Kendall is being way too dramatic and ridiculous,” the insider said.
The source claimed Kris sees the situation differently because Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, has already been mentioned on the show without major fallout.
Kendall Reportedly Refuses To Back Down
Kendall is still said to be standing firm. According to the insider, she is threatening to cut Kris off completely if her mother does anything to damage what she has with Elordi.
That may sound extreme, but Kendall has always been one of the more private Kardashian-Jenner siblings when it comes to dating.
Her relationships with Devin Booker and Bad Bunny already drew heavy public attention. This time, she reportedly wants to avoid turning romance into content.
For Kris, Jacob Elordi may look like a ratings gift. For Kendall, he is allegedly the one person she refuses to let the family machine touch.
