Katie Price appears to be changing her tone on husband Lee Andrews after weeks of publicly defending him.
The former glamour model had previously begged fans to help find Andrews after claiming he vanished in Dubai. She insisted the situation was “not a publicity stunt” and pushed back hard against people who accused her of being involved in a scam.
Now, Price has made a brutal comment about Andrews on her podcast, calling him “the most hated man in Britain” as public skepticism around the bizarre disappearance saga continues to grow. And it suggests Price may now be trying to put distance between herself and the backlash.
Katie Price Gives Lee Andrews Brutal Warning
Price said she spoke to Andrews during a two-minute phone call while he was allegedly being held at Dubai’s Al Awir Prison.
She claimed she told him exactly how badly the story had gone down online. “I went, don’t worry about it, Lee, just focus on one thing, you are the most hated man in Britain,” Price said.
According to Price, Andrews seemed confused by the warning. “He said, ‘What, what, why?’” she recalled. “And I said, ‘Trust me, you are the most hated man in Britain, everyone thinks this is a scam, everyone thinks I’m in on it.’”
Price said she told him they would discuss everything once he was out, adding that the entire situation had been a “nightmare” and had gone viral. She admitted the comment “can’t be nice for him,” but said she was telling him the truth.
Price Previously Defended Him From Scam Claims
The remarks marked a sharp change from Price’s earlier emotional appeals.
At the height of the drama, she claimed Andrews had been missing for five days and said she feared he had been abducted. She also alleged that his last known contact involved a FaceTime call in which he appeared with his hands tied and a hood over his head.
Price strongly denied accusations that the story was staged. “This is not a publicity stunt,” she said in a video shared online. “This is real.” She also said anyone who believed she was involved was “disgusting.”
Price pleaded with fans and media outlets to help locate him, saying Andrews had gone silent and off-grid in a way that was not normal.
Social Media Activity Raised Questions
Skepticism grew after social media users noticed activity on Andrews’ accounts during the period he was allegedly missing. That detail fueled claims that the disappearance story did not add up.
Price also addressed another twist on her podcast after fans spotted a glamorous US Navy veteran among Andrews’ recent social media follows. Her sister Sophie, who co-hosts the podcast, appeared unimpressed by the situation and reportedly banned Andrews from appearing on the show to explain himself.
Andrews has continued to claim he is being detained in Dubai after authorities allegedly suspected him of spying.
Whirlwind Marriage Faces New Pressure
Price and Andrews’ relationship has already drawn attention because of how fast it moved. The pair reportedly met earlier this year and married just days later. Price later described him as her “soulmate,” while sharing photos and videos of their romance online.
But the Dubai saga has brought heavy scrutiny to both Andrews and the marriage itself. Price once sounded desperate to defend him. Now, her “most hated man in Britain” comment makes the relationship look far less stable.
For a romance that began as a whirlwind, the fallout is starting to look just as chaotic.
