Kylie Jenner is facing another round of online backlash, and this time it started with a gratitude list.
The 28-year-old reality star shared a mirror selfie to Instagram Stories with a list of things she loves and is thankful for. The problem, according to critics, was the order.
Fans quickly noticed that items like coffee, spray tans, and her Birkin wall appeared before her children, Stormi and Aire. That detail did not go over well. “The kids should be first,” one user wrote after the post began circulating online.
Kylie’s Gratitude List Sparks Parenting Backlash
Jenner’s list reportedly included “coffee hallelujah” and “birkin wall hallelujah,” while her children appeared further down.
Critics immediately accused the beauty mogul of making her luxuries look more important than her kids. “YOUR children deserve better,” one person wrote. “Imagine in a few years’ time, seeing that your own mother picked her handbags and spray tan over you.” Another user was even harsher. “Spray tans before her kids is wild,” the commenter wrote. “But tbh, I’m surprised she listed her kids at all.”
Others accused Jenner of being unaware of how the post would look to fans. One person called it “shocking” and questioned why she would post the list publicly.

Cat Post Also Drew Criticism
The gratitude-list drama comes shortly after Jenner was criticized over another post involving her pet cat.
Fans accused her of treating the animal like an accessory after she shared photos holding the cat while showing off diamond nails and a flashy leash.
The post also led some users to ask what happened to her previously owned dogs. “Genuine question: Where are her dogs?” one person wrote. “Is this cat just what fits her aesthetic this year?”
The criticism fits a familiar pattern around Jenner. Her posts often begin as beauty or lifestyle content, then turn into a debate over wealth, parenting, pets, or public image.
Jenner Also Named In Former Housekeeper Lawsuit
Jenner is also dealing with legal trouble tied to her business operations.
In April 2026, former housekeeper Angelica Hernandez Vasquez filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing Jenner and her companies of fostering a “toxic and abusive work environment.”
The lawsuit names Jenner as a defendant, though she is not accused of direct misconduct. Vasquez alleges she faced “severe harassment and discrimination,” including being targeted over her Catholic faith. According to the filing, she claims she was told that “Catholics are horrible people” and was repeatedly “belittled and humiliated” due to her race, national origin, and religion.
The lawsuit also names Tri Star Services and Maison Family Services, which are accused of being responsible for the alleged workplace conditions during Vasquez’s employment from September 2024 to August 2025.
Ex-Housekeeper Claims Retaliation
Vasquez also claims she worked at the home of Timothée Chalamet, Jenner’s boyfriend, during her employment and was not reimbursed for mileage or transportation expenses.
According to the filing, she raised concerns in November 2024, but alleges her complaints were mocked and ignored. She later claimed she faced retaliation, including false accusations and disciplinary warnings, before resigning in August 2025.
The case includes allegations of religious discrimination, retaliation, and emotional harm. It remains pending in court.
Jenner has continued promoting her business ventures and Kylie Cosmetics launches while also making headlines for her relationship with Chalamet.
But online, the latest conversation is much simpler: fans saw her gratitude list and decided the order said too much.
