Pete Davidson has nothing bad to say about Kim Kardashian.

The former ‘Saturday Night Live’ star opened up about his famous ex during the May 29 episode of ‘The Pete Davidson Show’, where he interviewed comedian Nikki Glaser. Davidson and Kardashian dated for nine months before splitting in 2022, but he still seems impressed by how she handles fame, criticism, and reinvention.

“She’s superhuman,” Pete said.

He explained that dating Kardashian gave him a closer look at how she moves through nonstop public attention without letting it derail her. “I learned from her that no matter what’s going on, like whatever in the news, you’re still you,” he said. “And you can just still go do things.”

This comment comes as a surprise because Davidson recently split with Elsie Hewitt and shares a 5-month-old daughter, Scottie, with her. He has been making the headlines due to their split and their sharing of parental responsibilities.

Pete Davidson Praises Kim Kardashian’s Acting

Davidson also had plenty to say about Kardashian’s acting career.

The comedian remembered Kardashian telling him during their relationship that she wanted to act. “I remember one day she was just like, ‘I think I’m gonna be an actress,’” he recalled.

At the time, Davidson seemed unsure how serious she was. Then Kardashian started booking roles and proving herself. “She’s so good at acting,” he said.

Kardashian previously appeared in ‘American Horror Story: Delicate’ and is set to star in the upcoming comedy ‘The Fifth Wheel’, directed by Eva Longoria.

Nikki Glaser Says Kim Exceeded Expectations

Glaser, who stars with Kardashian in ‘The Fifth Wheel’, also praised her work ethic and confidence. “She’s amazing,” Glaser said. “She’s so smart. She does anything she wants to do.”

Glaser added that Kardashian seems especially motivated when people doubt her. “For her to go into acting with all the public perception of her anyway, she knew everyone was gonna look for her to fail,” she said.

Glaser also said Kardashian has a strong way of protecting herself from criticism. According to her, Kardashian sometimes does not even know about the biggest online stories involving her. “She protects herself from it,” Glaser said. “She exceeded my expectations.”

Pete Still Thinks Kim Is Funny

Davidson also made it clear that one of Kardashian’s underrated qualities is her humor. “She’s so funny,” he told Glaser.

The comments are notable because celebrity exes rarely speak this warmly without creating another round of dating speculation.

For Kardashian, the praise adds to the image she has been building lately: businesswoman, reality star, actress, and someone who knows exactly how to survive a brutal news cycle.
