Meghan Markle has reportedly reached a breaking point over the financial pressure surrounding her life with Prince Harry.

Meghan Reportedly Feels The Pressure
A source claimed Meghan is putting on a brave face publicly, but privately feels the strain.
The couple lives in a Montecito mansion reportedly worth more than $14 million. Between home maintenance, staff, security, children, business costs, and daily expenses, insiders claim the couple faces “massive outgoings” every month.
“It’s an enormous task,” one source said of Meghan managing the pressure. The insider added that the situation is “chipping away at their foundation” because Meghan and Harry allegedly have very different views on money. “The general feeling among her friends is that Harry needs to do something drastic, and fast,” the source claimed.
Harry Reportedly Refuses To Touch Inheritance
The main frustration reportedly centers on Harry’s inheritance.
Harry is said to have inherited significant money from Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II. One insider claimed the total is around $20 million, but said Harry does not want to use the principal amount.
“He refuses to dip into it,” the source said, claiming Harry sees the money as protection for old age and for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s future. The source added that Harry may draw on the interest, but that it is not enough to cover the couple’s monthly costs.
That has reportedly left Meghan feeling that she must find ways to keep income coming in.
Meghan Reportedly Wants Harry To Do More
Meghan has been expanding her lifestyle brand while also raising the couple’s two children.
At the same time, some of the couple’s previous media deals have reportedly cooled. Their Spotify deal ended, and Meghan’s Netflix lifestyle series ‘With Love, Meghan’ was not reportedly renewed for a third season.
Insiders claim Meghan would like Harry to consider more commercial opportunities, including brand deals and partnerships he has allegedly avoided.
“If Harry wasn’t so precious about things, he could bring in plenty of money in brand deals and other commercial partnerships; there are plenty of Hollywood agents who would sign him,” one source claimed.
It seems that Meghan knows Harry may not want to move in that direction, leaving her to monetize their status as much as possible.
For Meghan and Harry, the public image has long been independence, freedom, and a new life outside the palace. Behind the scenes, insiders now claim that independence comes with one huge problem: somebody has to keep paying for it.
