Tristan Thompson just revealed one of his most personal decisions yet, and Khloé Kardashian was apparently the one who pushed him there.
The NBA player appeared on Kardashian’s ‘Khloé In Wonder Land’ podcast on Thursday, May 28, where the former couple discussed his vasectomy, their embryos, and whether he could have more children in the future.
Kardashian asked him directly, “Do you wanna have more kids in the future?”
Thompson’s answer came with a very Kardashian-level twist. “I think I signed off for two embryos,” he said. “So, I mean, if I do have more kids, it’d be coming from you. I already have enough baby moms. Don’t want no more.”
Khloé Says She Gave Tristan An Ultimatum
Thompson, 35, shares daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 2, with Kardashian, 41. He is also father to son Prince, 9, with ex Jordan Craig, and son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols.
Kardashian made it clear she had a hand in Thompson’s decision. “And who helped you fix that decision? That was me,” she said, referring to the vasectomy. Then she added, “Tristan may have had a little ultimatum from me.”
Thompson joked about the procedure before admitting he had been stubborn about it at first. “I’ve been a little hardheaded at times,” he said. “I wish I wasn’t as stubborn.” He later added, “Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision.”
More Kids Are Still Technically Possible
The vasectomy does not fully close the door on more children for Thompson.
During the podcast, he revealed that he had legally signed over the rights to his embryos with Kardashian. She confirmed that point on air. “You signed them over to me anyway, so I legally own them,” Kardashian said. Thompson replied, “No more kids, unless it’s coming from Khloé’s embryos.”
Kardashian also said they saved sperm in case Thompson eventually marries someone who wants children. “We saved sperm because I said, ‘What if you get married and your wife doesn’t have kids, and you wanna do that?’” she explained. Thompson, however, said he has no plans to reverse anything.
Khloé And Tristan’s Complicated History

That same year, news broke that Nichols was expecting Thompson’s child. At the time, Kardashian and Thompson were reportedly still dating when Nichols said the child was conceived.
In July 2022, Kardashian’s rep confirmed she and Thompson were expecting another child together via surrogate. Tatum was born later that month.
Thompson has since apologized publicly and privately to Kardashian for the betrayal. The two have continued working on an amicable co-parenting relationship for True and Tatum.
Their latest podcast conversation made one thing clear: Kardashian may not be with Thompson romantically, but she still has strong opinions about his future family planning.
