Tom Cruise’s love life may have a new Hollywood twist, and this one comes with a very unexpected name: Pamela Anderson.
The ‘Mission: Impossible’ star has reportedly been keeping in close contact with Anderson after reaching out in 2024 to praise her performance in ‘The Last Showgirl.’ The movie helped shift public attention back to Anderson’s acting, and according to one source, Cruise noticed.
“The movie got people to see Pam in a very different light, including Tom,” the insider said. “They’ve been in touch ever since.”
The source added, “There is definitely a spark between them. People have noticed it and mentioned it to Tom.”
Neither Cruise nor Anderson has confirmed a romance. Still, the rumors picked up after the pair were reportedly seen leaving the same New York City hotel last year.
Cruise Reportedly Made The First Move
According to the report, Cruise was the one who reached out first.
The actor, 63, allegedly called Anderson, 58, to congratulate her on her work in ‘The Last Showgirl.’ Since then, the two have reportedly stayed in regular contact.
A source claimed Cruise is being careful because he tends to keep his personal life private.
“He’s a very private guy, so until they’re at a place where they want to make this official, Tom will play his cards close to the chest,” the insider said.
Still, the source claimed Cruise does not reject the idea when people bring up dating Anderson.
They Reportedly Bond Over Movies
The strongest connection between them may be their shared love of film.
Anderson is reportedly a major cinephile, and that has allegedly given the two a lot to talk about.
“She’s a huge cinephile, that’s something they really have bonded over,” the insider said. “They can talk for hours about films and the business.”
The source also claimed Cruise often praises Anderson.
“He always speaks highly of her,” the insider added. “Tom has a ton of respect for Pam.”
Cruise has been married three times, to Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. Anderson has also had a heavily publicized romantic history, including former relationships with Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, Rick Salomon and Dan Hayhurst.

Cruise was linked to Ana de Armas last year after the two were spotted together several times.
That rumored romance reportedly faded because of Cruise’s intense approach. One source claimed, “He acted like a director, not a boyfriend.”
The insider added, “Every dinner, every outfit, every weekend plan, he had notes. It was exhausting.”
Another source said, “Ana wanted a partner. Tom wanted a production.”
Anderson, meanwhile, previously confirmed a short romantic chapter with Liam Neeson after they worked together on ‘The Naked Gun.’ She said the connection happened after filming and described one private week in New York as their “romantic lost week.”
