Sharon Osbourne is parting with a major piece of family history.

Nine months after Ozzy Osbourne’s death, Sharon has put the Los Angeles mansion they once shared back on the market for $17 million. The Hancock Park estate, which the couple bought in 2015 for $11.85 million, had already been listed once before in 2022 before being pulled from the market.

This time, the sale carries a very different weight. Sharon, 73, is now moving forward without Ozzy, who died in England in July 2025 at age 76 after battling coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease. The couple had long planned a return to the U.K., where they owned a large Buckinghamshire estate and where the Black Sabbath singer spent his final months.

Sharon Is Letting Go Of A Home Filled With History

While this was not the Beverly Hills house made famous by MTV’s ‘The Osbournes’, the property still had its own screen legacy. It served as the backdrop for the couple’s documentary ‘Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home’, and it was clearly a place layered with memories from their later years together.

The seven-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom mansion spans 11,565 square feet and first hit the market again on April 6. According to the listing, the home sits behind tall gates for privacy and was carefully restored to preserve its old Hollywood character while adding modern comforts.

Inside The $17 Million Estate

The house opens with a grand foyer, high ceilings, and a statement staircase, then moves into a mix of formal and cozy living spaces, including a wood-paneled library, chef’s kitchen, family room, and dining areas built for entertaining. Outside, there is a lawn, gardens, outdoor dining space, and a mosaic-tiled pool.

One of the biggest talking points is the lower-level screening room, finished in red velvet with a fireplace and bar. The room also reportedly includes signatures from stars connected to the home’s Hollywood past, including Elvis Presley, Mel Tormé, and Natalie Wood.

Upstairs, the primary suite includes dual baths and a large walk-in closet, while a guest apartment sits above the garage. An elevator connects all levels of the home.

Why The Sale Feels Bigger Now

According to reports, Sharon is still splitting her time between the U.K. and Los Angeles, but now uses an apartment when she is in California instead of staying at the mansion. She also listed a West Hollywood condo late last year, adding to the sense that she is closing out a major Los Angeles chapter.

Ozzy had made it clear before his death that he wanted to spend the rest of his life back in Britain. Health setbacks delayed that move for years, but he was finally able to return in early 2025. He even made one final emotional appearance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham just weeks before he died.

So while this listing may look like another luxury real estate story on the surface, it reads as something more personal. For Sharon, selling the house is not just about property. It is about saying goodbye to one chapter of the Osbournes’ life and stepping into whatever comes next.
