Sydney Sweeney lingerie line is rooted in something far more personal than a celebrity brand launch. The actress says years of discomfort, self-consciousness, and bad bra fits pushed her to create something she actually needed, turning a private struggle with body image into a business built around support, comfort, and a more honest kind of confidence.

Sweeney recently opened up about growing up with a 32DD bra size and feeling uneasy in her body from a young age. She said that by sixth grade, she was already dealing with changes that made her want to hide rather than stand out. For years, she could not find pieces that felt good or fit the way they should.

That frustration stayed with her as her career took off. While many fans see Sweeney as one of Hollywood’s biggest bombshells, she has made clear that confidence did not come easily. In fact, she says it took time, work, and a major shift in how she saw herself.

Sydney Sweeney says Euphoria changed everything

Sweeney has pointed to Euphoria as a turning point in that process. Playing Cassie forced her to think differently about her body, even as the character was often framed through other people’s desire and judgment. Somewhere in that experience, she said, she started to understand how much power confidence can carry.

That change did not happen overnight. However, it helped her stop seeing her body as something to shrink away from. Instead, she began to think more seriously about comfort, support, and what women actually need from the clothes closest to their skin.

Bad bra fits pushed her toward SYRN

Costume fittings kept bringing the same problem back into focus. Sweeney said straps dug into her shoulders, support felt weak, and certain pieces just did not work on a real body. Those moments may sound small, but they piled up and eventually pushed her toward building something of her own.

During filming, she started saving ideas and collecting reference images for her dream lingerie line. That growing board of inspiration later turned into SYRN, which launched in January. Sweeney has made a point of calling herself the sole founder, not just the face of the brand.

Her pitch centers on real-life comfort

SYRN now offers bras and underwear in 44 sizes, ranging from 30B to 42DDD, with prices under $100. The line includes collections with names like Seductress, Romantic, and Comfy, which suggest she wants room for different moods and different versions of femininity.

Sweeney has said she wanted to make lingerie that works in everyday life, not just in glossy campaign photos. She also stressed that bodies are not one-size-fits-all, and bras should reflect that reality. For her, the brand is not about pretending underwear fixes everything. It is about helping women feel supported, seen, and a little more at ease in their own skin.
