Jack Osbourne has welcomed a new baby and paid tribute to his late father in a deeply personal way.
The television personality introduced his newborn on Instagram Wednesday, revealing that he and wife Aree Gearhart named their daughter Ozzy Matilda Osbourne in honor of the legendary Black Sabbath frontman.
In the black-and-white video shared online, the newborn can be seen sleeping peacefully in a hospital bassinet. A card beside the baby reads “Hello, World,” along with the birth date of March 5, 2026.
According to the post, Ozzy Matilda was born at 8:49 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 19 inches long.
The tribute carries added meaning following the death of Ozzy Osbourne, widely known as the “Prince of Darkness,” who passed away in July at age 76.
A small plush bat toy placed near the baby in the video appeared to reference one of Ozzy’s most infamous moments on stage in 1982, when he famously bit the head off a bat during a concert.

Ozzy Matilda is the latest addition to Jack Osbourne’s growing family.
Jack shares three daughters—Pearl Clementine, Andy Rose and Minnie Theodora—with his former wife Lisa Stelly. He also shares daughter Maple Artemis with Gearhart.
Jack previously revealed the pregnancy during an interview in December, saying he and Gearhart had been able to share the news with Ozzy before his death.
At the time, he described the experience as a meaningful moment for the family during a difficult period.
“It’s been a mix of healthy distraction and healing,” Jack said. “Almost like completing a full circle in an odd way.”
He added that the pregnancy brought a renewed sense of hope while the family continued to process their loss.
