Speculation is swirling online after Millie Bobby Brown was noticeably absent from the recent wedding of her Stranger Things co-star Maya Hawke, prompting fans to question whether tensions may exist within the beloved Netflix cast. While many of the show’s actors gathered to celebrate Hawke’s big day in New York, Brown’s absence quickly became a talking point among fans tracking the reunion.

Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley on the hit series, married singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson on February 14 in an intimate Valentine’s Day ceremony at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Manhattan. The event brought together close friends, family members, and several familiar faces from the Stranger Things universe, turning the celebration into what some fans described as a mini cast reunion.

Photos circulating online showed multiple cast members attending the ceremony, along with Hawke’s famous parents, actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. But the absence of several prominent stars—including Brown, David Harbour, and Noah Schnapp—quickly caught the attention of fans analyzing social media posts and guest photos from the event.

Harbour’s absence also drew curiosity after reports claimed he was spotted elsewhere in New York around the same time, allegedly on a date with an unidentified woman. Neither Harbour nor his representatives have commented on why he didn’t attend the wedding. Brown and Schnapp have likewise stayed silent about their absence from the celebration.

The situation has drawn even more attention because much of the Stranger Things cast was also missing from Brown’s own wedding earlier this year. Brown married Jake Bongiovi, the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, in two ceremonies—a private event followed by a larger celebration in Italy. Fans analyzing photos from the festivities believe only a small number of her co-stars attended.

That overlap in absences has fueled speculation online that the wedding guest lists may reflect lingering tensions among the cast. Some fans on platforms like TikTok, Reddit, and X have even suggested that Brown skipping Hawke’s wedding could be a response to Hawke not attending Brown’s own ceremony, framing it as a possible “tit-for-tat.” However, there has been no confirmation that either actor declined invitations or intentionally skipped the events.

Rumors about possible divisions within the Stranger Things cast have circulated before, often sparked by social media clues or public appearances. Despite the current chatter, Brown has previously spoken fondly about her co-stars, once describing them as “family” after Netflix announced the show would end with its upcoming fifth season. For now, neither Netflix nor the actors involved have addressed the latest rumors, leaving the online theories firmly in the realm of fan speculation.
