Britney Spears has obtained a permanent restraining order against a man she says has been stalking and harassing her for years.
According to court documents, the individual identified as Donald, 51, has allegedly targeted the pop star online since 2013 through repeated posts on social media.
The court order requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from Spears. The restraining order will remain in place until 2030.
Spears’ legal team told the court that many of Donald’s posts about the singer were “largely incoherent,” with some messages interpreted as threatening. Those posts raised serious concerns among her representatives about her safety.
The situation escalated beyond online activity in 2025, when Donald was arrested after allegedly entering Spears’ Los Angeles property. He was reportedly caught by the singer’s security team.
In a statement submitted to the court, Spears said she has never met or had any relationship with the man.
Court filings also outline a lengthy criminal record connected to Donald. The documents note prior convictions in 2019 for criminal trespass and aggravated assault.
Authorities say his record also includes charges related to burglary, harassment, DUI, and cyberstalking.
